Jeddah, April 2025 — For the fourth consecutive year, Air Synapsis proudly supported helicopter operations at the Saudi Arabian Formula 1 Grand Prix, deploying both its specialized technical team and the cutting-edge HeliCase 6 portable lighting system to ensure safe and ICAO-compliant heliport operations throughout the weekend.
Our team provided on-site operational support, helipad setup, and lighting management in line with international safety and performance standards — reinforcing our continued commitment to aviation excellence in high-pressure, high-visibility environments.
A Heliport in a Suitcase: The HeliCase 6
The HeliCase 6 is a fully portable, battery-powered lighting kit that enables rapid deployment of ICAO-compliant heliport operations in any location. Packaged in a durable waterproof polypropylene case, it includes:
- 6 autonomous LED lights, made from UV-resistant polypropylene and aluminum
- Remote control with on/off switching and 3-level intensity dimming
- Light modes: eco, standard, boost, and flash
- Battery runtime: up to 160 hours in eco mode and 30+ hours in boost mode
- Full deployment in under 5 minutes
- Compliance with ICAO Annex 14, FAA AC 150/5390-2C, CAP 437, and EASA CS-HPT-DSN
- NVG-compatible infrared mode (optional)
The wireless controller (868 MHz EU or 915 MHz US) offers a range of over 1 kilometer, giving the operator full control of lighting from a safe distance.
Thanks to its compact format and robust build, the HeliCase can be easily transported via checked-in or cabin luggage, making it ideal for international missions, pop-up heliports, event support, and remote site operations.
